About The Role

As a Design Intern, you will work closely with our design team to bring creative visions to life. You'll play a key role in concept development, material selection, and creating impactful presentations. This position is ideal for someone passionate about interior design and eager to gain practical experience in a collaborative, fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with concept development, material selection, and color palettes.
Support the design team in producing design presentations, renderings, and space planning.
Aid in creating mood boards, sample boards, and sourcing FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment).
Participate in project meetings, take notes, and contribute to brainstorming sessions.
Conduct research on design trends, materials, and local culture to inspire projects.
Collaborate on drafting design concepts, construction documents, and specifications.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited Interior Design program.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD or Revit.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills and confidence in sharing ideas.
A creative mindset paired with a practical, solution-oriented approach to design.

Additional Details

Schedule: Flexible, requiring a minimum of 8 hours per week and a maximum of 24 hours per week, during standard work hours.

Location: This position is in-office only at our Annapolis, MD headquarters. Remote work is not available.

Compensation: $20/hour.

Growth Opportunity: This role has the potential to transition into a full-time position for the right candidate.
