We are looking for a Banana Manor Team Member to work in our 10,000ft² Rug Factory Outlet in Uptown New Orleans. Ideal candidate will have good energy, be likable, have a sense of humor and love to laugh, enjoy talking to people and have an eye for design and love beautiful things.

You need to possess the ability to kick butt working with Retail Customers & Interior Designers in our Rug Factory Outlet to find them the perfect In Stock or Made to Order Rug and be able to play a huge role in keeping our Website & other online channels up to date for e-commerce.

We are open 7 days a week and our team is at work from 9:45-5ish and work 5 shifts per week. Experience working with Shopify is a PLUS. This is not a Corporate minded Position. This is a small, rapidly growing Operation that needs a dependable, strong work ethic, competent & capable, positive, hardworking person who understands that the job description is “get the job done, whatever that means on any given day or moment”.

An Interior Designer or someone with a background or interest in Interior Design is a HUGE plus.

This is a fun job that oftentimes involves beers & margaritas, but it is also a physical job that involves flipping of rugs to show customers their rug options and pulling rugs from the stacks when they select one. Which always seems to be the rug at the bottom of the stack;) This is done in a hot, cold, etc... open air warehouse, with fans everywhere.

I repeat...this is a very physical job. We joke with customers constantly as they comment that "we don't need to join a gym working here". We tell them it is Rug Crossfit;)

But if you are one of those people that isn't physically equipped to handle the heat or labor then this is not a job for you. We work hard. We sweat hard and we have a great time doing what we do.
