GENERAL PURPOSE
Responsible for the proper handling, storage, and distribution of materials. This role plays a critical part in maintaining operational efficiency and quality standards by conducting inspections, validating documentation, and communicating effectively with team members.
Essential Functions
- Inspect the quality of parts produced in the machine room to ensure they meet established standards.
- Validate manifests, ensuring all parts have completed the necessary production processes.
- Reconcile physical counts of parts with documented manifests to ensure accuracy.
- Receive and record materials in the system (BAAN) accurately and promptly.
- Organize and store parts in racks according to type, and species for easy identification and retrieval.
- Communicate with team members and leaders when a "HOT" ticket is received, ensuring priority handling.
- Distribute materials received from the warehouse to the appropriate locations in a timely manner.
- Perform T-nut insertion tasks during downtime or when other duties allow.
- Reject materials that do not meet quality expectations and escalate issues to the appropriate team leaders (WTL/WGL).
- Collaborate with team leaders and quality assurance staff to address any questions or concerns about parts and processes.
- Maintain organized and accessible racks to facilitate efficient material handling and parts retrieval.

Education/Experience
One of the following is required: (1) High school diploma or its equivalent (GED for example), (2) work experience which demonstrates performance competency
Skills And Abilities
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
Excellent organizational skills to maintain orderly storage and retrieval systems.
Ability to read and interpret manifests, work orders, and related documentation.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and leaders.
Basic Computer Skills, Including Experience With Inventory Software Systems.
Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues related to quality and workflow.
