POSITION TITLE: Facility Maintenance Mechanic

We are looking for a skilled Facility Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various mechanical systems and equipment within and around our facility. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical skills and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, including plumbing, doors, walls, floors, roof and other facility equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to ensure optimal operation of facility systems.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, providing efficient and effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff and departments to ensure seamless facility operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanical systems preferred.
- Proven experience as a facility maintenance mechanic or in a similar maintenance role.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, including plumbing, carpentry, wall repair, and grounds.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, and climbing.
