Job Overview
We are looking for a talented Interior Designer to join our New York sales team. This full-time role is primarily based in our New York City showroom, with flexibility to work from your home office occasionally. The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000, plus bonus. However, the final offer may vary based on your skills, experience and education.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sales Specialists, dealers, and customers to design functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing spaces, ensuring compliance with blueprints, building codes, and inspection requirements.
- Provide direct support in CAD/CET, space planning, quoting, finish recommendations and project qualification.
- Participate in customer meetings and presentations to understand client objectives and desires, and effectively communicate design ideas.
- Allocate time to pre-sales and post-sales support, including creating quotes, ensuring workflow adherence, and enhancing customer experience.
- Stay updated with industry knowledge to remain relevant.
- Engage in various design community events to boost company brand visibility and stay abreast of the latest trends.
What you Need to Succeed
- An Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Design, Interior Design or a related field.
- Previous experience in commercial furniture design is preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and CET is recommended (training for CET proficiency is available).
