High Level Statement Of The Role
The Customer Experience Specialist supports the customer tour experiences, is responsible for helping to increase brand loyalty, assists in planning conferences and events, and supports day to day activities at the Kimball International headquarters.
This position is located in a fast-paced environment requiring multi-tasking, organizational and analytical skills, and accountability. It also requires problem solving and collaboration with multiple groups within the organization.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Responsible for elevating the brand through the customer tour experience
- Work closely with other Brand Marketing team members to increase brand loyalty
- Communicate with internal and external service providers for catering, gifting, hotel stays, etc
- Work with internal and external parties to assist in organizing conferences and events
- Provide upscale, professional, and high-class customer centric experiences
- Follow up on all customer inquiries and/or complaints and establish conclusions in a timely manner
- Support Fulton Market Design Days in Chicago annually with entertainment, catering, training and other support
- Willing and able to travel to off site meetings and events
- Understand and promote the Kimball International culture
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Support the day to day activities and events at the Kimball International headquarters

The ideal candidate would be located near our Jasper, IN headquarters and work primarily from this location.
- Undergraduate degree preferred in related field
- Knowledge of the office furniture industry preferred
- Effective use of technology tools, including Microsoft applications, salesforce.com, and Canva
- Ability to assist with transportation as needed, must have a valid driver's license and clear driving record
- Ability to travel as needed, could be once (or more) per quarter, depending on schedule
