Job Overview
We are currently looking for a Showroom Manager to join our team in Chicago, Il. This position will work onsite at the Merchandise Market, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with flexibility needed for early morning or evening events.
As a Showroom Manager, You Will Be
Responsible for managing Haworth showroom to ensure exceptional showroom visit and event experience for clients. Uphold showroom operational efficiency, functionality, and appearance, and create a welcoming environment, maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction that aligns with the Haworth brand image. Perform various administrative activities to support business objectives.
Do you have these required qualifications?
Education
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality management, marketing, communication or equivalent
- Education Equivalency:
- Associate degree plus 2 years related experience or,
- High school diploma plus 4 years related experience.
Work Experience
- 2 years related office/showroom management experience, including experience working in hospitality, event planning, marketing, or direct customer service interaction.

Essential Functions
- Facilitates events and customer visits of all sizes. Welcomes visitors and clients to the showroom with professionalism, delivering exceptional customer service that embodies hospitality and fosters relationship building. Provides information in an efficient manner and ensures all requests are executed to guarantee a positive experience.
- Liaises between clients, dealers, and Haworth leadership and sales team. Fields calls and requests and provides timely follow up, plans and schedules showroom visits and events, including external events hosted by Haworth; communicates event and product information. Maintains general product knowledge to conduct walk-in visitor showroom tours and online customers.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to plan client visits, events, and training. Assists with agendas and objectives, communications, social media, gathers visitor information, handles special needs, coordinates schedules and spaces, prepares materials, procures catering, and arranges logistics and equipment. Manages food and beverage inventory and budget, maintains multiple vendor relationships, and consistently evaluates service, quality, and price to ensure ‘Best in Class’ service levels. Monitors budget for accuracy, alerts management to issues, and implements cost-saving initiatives.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and client-ready showroom in accordance with HQ design guidelines, coordinating resources for optimal functionality and appearance. Organizes and maintains marketing collateral, samples, material finishes, and SWAG for customers. Ensures showroom displays, products, and samples meet quality standards through regular audits. Manages open/close procedures and meeting room setups, ensuring technology services are always operational. Troubleshoots and resolves issues to maintain the showroom’s working order.
- Develops best practices from feedback and maintains guidelines for showroom use, maintenance, dining standards, and procedures. Maintains current Enterprise Maintenance Planning And Control (EMPAC) user identification and access to create requisitions for ordering supplies. Adheres to Haworth’s standards and policies, including corporate Client Experience team showroom policies/procedures, and brand standards for marketing materials.
- Assists sales team with projects and proposals, distributes marketing materials and product samples. Keeps team informed on projects, events, and other business matters to keep goals on track. Administers policies and coordinates support for programs (e.g., Loaner Chair Program and mock-ups). Collects data and metrics, and prepares reports for sales leadership and corporate personnel, ensuring accuracy and timeliness with deliverables to meet goals and objectives.

Compensation And Benefits
Haworth offers a competitive total rewards package including base salary determined based on the role, experience, skill set, and location. This role offers a salary range of 63k to 107k, depending on candidate experience, education, and skill set.
