Join a well-established firm in an entry-level administrative role with opportunities to learn and grow. This is a 30-40 hour/week position, paid hourly.
Responsibilities:
- Assist designers in managing projects from start to finish
- Organize and maintain the materials library
- Prepare for client presentations (tearsheets, mood boards, look books, CAD)
- Communicate with vendors on product details, availability, and pricing; order samples
- Oversee procurement: place and track orders, pay invoices, and maintain project status
- General admin duties: answer phones, check emails, receive packages, sort mail, and keep the studio organized
- Occasionally drop off or pick up samples, make deliveries to jobsites, assist with project installations
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to stay organized while working on multiple projects
- Positive, proactive, and solution-oriented attitude
- Interest in interior design with a willingness to learn
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Interior design education or industry knowledge is a plus
- Transportation needed (mileage reimbursable)
