General Accountabilities:
The Lead Generation Specialist is accountable for qualifying new business opportunities by directly engaging prospects through a call campaign process. The goal of the role is to develop new selling opportunities for Global Furniture Group by qualifying new opportunities and prospects, and have these opportunities contribute to the overall sales growth of the company.
Specific Accountabilities:
- Lead and participate in the prospecting process for new opportunities in the Greater Toronto Area. Develop and build sales volume and revenue to sustainable level within new accounts.
- Analyze market for competitively held customers and submit for approval and ongoing regular review the list of target corporate accounts.
- Key resource when required in targeting certain assigned existing customers to broaden and expand the relationship or to fend off competitive challenges.
- Collaborate with The Director of Business Development to hand off end user opportunities at the qualified point to ensure proper dealer alignment.
- Acquire and maintain a full knowledge of Global product lines including a full knowledge of products newly introduced and to be able to communicate effectively about the products as required.
- Identify and source prospect targets through: Zoominfo.com, Permits for construction, Networked leads from Real Estate/Design Firms/3rd Party Influencers, Campaigns by Vertical, Past Customers, Lost Opportunities, Expired Registrations.
- Execute call campaigns, with multiple touches to prospects.
- Utilize OnContact CRM to help efficiently organize notes and next steps with prospects.
Qualifications:
- College Diploma or University Degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.
- Ability to work independently, is self-directed and functions well within a team environment.
- Resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; oral and demonstrated proficiency composing written communications.
- High energy level, comfortable engaging in multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
