About This Opportunity
MillerKnoll’s Summer Internship Program is a paid, 12-week opportunity that provides a 100% real-world experience for students early in their careers. Throughout the summer you will apply academic learning to real-world situations and cultivate leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
As an Indirect Supply Management Intern, you will focus on spend including services, software and goods which help keep the business running. In Indirect we focus on contracting, running requests for proposals (RFP’s) and finding opportunities within MillerKnoll to align and leverage our spend. Departments like Operations, People Services, Information Technology, Marketing and others cannot function without indirect spend.

- Attains on-the-job work experience that is aligned with career objectives.
- Participates in cross-functional teamwork to complete Intern Project.
- Performs additional responsibilities as needed to achieve business objectives.
- Performs tasks related to the degree program as assigned by the work team leader.
What You Bring
The needed skills and experience for this role include...
- Basic knowledge of supplier relationship management (quality, delivery, cost, performance).
- Knowledge of business analytics/BI/emergence of AI
- Knowledge of cost and negotiations.
- Enrolled and pursuing a four-year Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management or a related field from an accredited college or university, and able to provide transcripts upon request.
- You must have a GPA of at least 3.0 (overall or within your program) to qualify for consideration in the Intern Program.
- Must have satisfactorily completed basic coursework in the chosen degree program.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without accommodations.
