Director of Sales
Position Overview
The Director of Sales plays a pivotal role in driving top-line revenue growth by optimizing Enwork’s network of independent sales representatives and fostering relationships with strategic dealers, architect and design firms, and end-users. As a brand ambassador, you will travel regularly to communicate Enwork’s key messages, programs, and product offerings to the market, generating awareness and training various audiences. A passion for exceptional design, problem-solving, and relationship-building is essential!
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate relationships with sales teams, key dealers, and other critical contacts to drive revenue growth.
- Seek opportunities to increase revenue through new programs, strategic accounts, vertical markets, and end-user relationships.
- Serve as the customer/sales liaison for large projects and opportunities, collaborating with internal Enwork teams to ensure project intent and commitments are met while delivering an outstanding brand experience to customers.
- Present the Enwork brand and products in strategic markets across North America, with 2-4 market visits per month, depending on the season.
- Train sales representatives and dealers on Enwork’s messages, products, programs, and services.
- Identify underperforming markets and develop actionable plans for improvement.
- Actively monitor sales progress towards goals and collaborate with sales teams to achieve targets.
- Support and manage national sales programs effectively.
- This position reports to the VP of Sales & Marketing and will work closely with the Inside Sales Manager, Customer Care Manager, Owner/CEO, and other team members at all levels of the organization.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven ability to deliver engaging and inspiring presentations with confidence.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with technology, particularly video conferencing platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proactive and organized, capable of managing multiple projects and sensitive situations with professionalism.
- Empathetic and customer-oriented, with a relatable, positive, and conscientious approach. High emotional intelligence is a must.
- Quick learner with the ability to articulate technical aspects of products and processes clearly.
- A minimum of 7 years of sales/business development experience within the contract furniture industry is required.
