Steelcase is hiring a Sales Consultant to to drive sales growth in the Americas Small & Medium Business vertical by nurturing dealer, customer and partner experiences designed to improve our share of wallet in dealerships with SMB customers and accelerate new customer acquisition.
What you will be doing:
- Develop expertise in core products for the SMB market.
- Collaborate with Steelcase Sales and Dealer DSPs to enhance product knowledge and positioning of our featured portfolio of products curated for the SMB vertical.
- Build and maintain relationships with top 50 dealers to drive opportunity strategies and increase share of wallet.
- Support Steelcase sales by engaging learning resources and developing competitive information to boost win rates and share insights with the field.
- Coordinate with AMQ Regional Sales Managers GTM strategies.
- Facilitate and track digital marketing initiatives with Inside Sales.
- Lead virtual and in-person tours at Steelcase's Grand Rapids Business Center and Learning & Innovation Center.
- Partner cross-functionally to enhance sales strategies, inform on competitive market, support marketing activities, and promote events.
Who you are:
- Strong understanding of sales processes and the sales cycle.
- You work comfortably both independently and collaboratively with team members, as well as with external stakeholders such as dealers, customers, and A&D (architecture and design) professionals.
- Keep abreast of best practices, trends, innovative sales and consumer engagement approaches.
- You have an entrepreneurial nature, motivated to bring the spirit of the small & medium business to our work at Steelcase.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, design or marketing or related.
- 5 years' field sales experience or working directly with field sales with proven sales record.
- Thorough understanding of dealer design & sales process.
