We are hiring a Sr. Financial Analyst to provide reporting and analysis to support strategic and operational business decisions for our AMQ business. You will partner cross-functionally with business leaders to conduct research, perform analysis and deliver data and insights to executives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of related accounting and finance experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business
- Demonstrated proficiency and advanced understanding of the application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and tailor communications for different audiences
- Ability to make decisions based on business and financial information
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Excellent Accounting skills including experience with reconciliations and journal entries
- MBA, MSA, CMA or other evidence of technical competence
- Experience with SAP and/or Tableau
What You Will Be Doing:
- Maintain strong financial controls in compliance with GAAP and corporate policies
- Support month end activities including journal entries and analysis with a focus on sales, margin analysis, inventory costing, processes, and accuracy of inventory valuations
- Reconcile and analyze data to ensure integrity of financial information
- Partner with operations to understand warehouse operations to review and maintain inventory controls
- Collaborate with product development teams to model new product development projects, analyze financial metrics related to cost, revenue and profitability to support decision-making and optimize portfolio performance
- Produce ad-hoc business reports
- Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives, business forecasting and variance analysis
