We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Operations Finance Team supporting our operations business partners and finance teams. In this role you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data, creating and improving reporting, and presenting your findings to key stakeholders.
What You Will Be Doing:
Standard Reporting – You will be responsible for creating and maintaining various reports to support decision-making across the operations organization.
Analyzing and Forecasting – You will be analyzing these reports to identify trends, investigate anomalies, forecast future trends, and provide insight to the business.
Developing Reporting Tools – You will be working with various reporting and analytical tools such as Excel, Tableau, Analysis for Office, and SAP to develop and improve reporting processes.
Business Partnering – You will work with Operations Leaders and Operations Finance teams to answer questions and provide support in understanding and improving business performance.
Planning – You will assist in developing planning templates, gathering planning data, and presenting planning information to facilitate reviews with Steelcase leaders.
Your Future Team:
The Operations Finance team is the hub for Operations reporting and data analytics. Our team is responsible for consolidating, analyzing, and reporting on the Cost of Goods Sold components in our financial statements. We also serve as the reporting connection between individual Operations Functions for groups like Logistics, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain Management, etc. and the combined view of each line within Cost of Goods Sold and Operations OPEX. Our focus is ensuring we provide accurate data in a consistent and effective format that allows our business partners to focus on critical business decisions.

Required Skills and Competencies:
- At least 3 years of experience within accounting and finance
- Bachelors in Accounting or Finance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas and pivot table experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present financials to business partners
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate your point of view
- Effective organization and planning skills
- Ability to maintain focus and discipline while handling multiple tasks
- Demonstrated creative problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Curiosity and a desire to learn
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
- Experience with Tableau
- Managerial/Cost Accounting experience
- Experience with Variance Analysis
