POSITION TITLE: Production Control (Shipping)
FLSA: Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Garett Jones
DATE: 9/10/2024
SCHEDULE: 8:30AM-5:00PM
Function
- Under general direction, is responsible for work of considerable difficulty supervising production activities of a data entry system and data processing input-output control unit; is responsible for the storage, safety, security, access and inventory of a substantial volume of magnetic storage media necessary for the operation of a large-scale systems-oriented digital computer; and performs other duties as assigned.
Responsibilites
- Print production exception report – missing configurations, Work orders, and problem line items – email CRS
- Print Pack Label Exception Report – check for any discrepancies – revisions delete or add labels.
- Print backorder report and verify to what is open in Labels to what we have received backorder report form for
- Update backorder report with new backorders, or orders that already shipped if dates needed get from purchasing
- If any backorders shipping that day – verify address and method of shipment and bring to either shipping or ups/FedEx
- Check email for rush requests or rushes entered with/without approval print out paperwork and bring to affected department as well as shipment folder
- Check missing products and report to Damon if need be
- Approve or deny any revision changes, move in or move out requests from CSR– unlock orders
- Check order change templates for revisions that might affect a department that has already started – if so bring out paperwork and alert the group leader.
- FedEx tracking process and assist in any other discrepancies they might have.
- Manual Exception report for discrepancies when needed.
- Answer any questions asked from factory personnel or supervisors or any other departments.
- Minor billing for FedEx & Internal orders.
- Provide invoice with cost of parts for FedEx international orders
- P11 follow ups/internal orders.
- Make sure they are scanned out and either bill out or have shipping bill out.
- Help in shipping priority.
- File factory paperwork daily.
- WB Mason ordering.
- Credit Hold for FedEx.
- Balance Tact calendar when requested.
Requirements
- Data control, data conversion and help desk functions.
- Principles, capabilities and operation of modern data processing equipment (e.g. personal computers, mainframe terminals, laser printers, etc.)
- The distribution of sensitive information and reports
