What We Need
We are seeking a visionary Director, Security Program Manager and Business Partner to join our team in Muscatine, Iowa.
In this strategic role, you will lead the development and evolution of a comprehensive enterprise
security program. Reporting directly to the Vice President, Cybersecurity and Data Privacy, you will
drive program development, manage initiatives, and serve as a key liaison with stakeholders across
the organization. Your role will also involve collecting and reporting operational metrics to drive
continuous improvement in our security posture
What You Will Do
Program Development: Lead the development and execution of information security strategy and practices aligned with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, industry standards and leading practices to protect information assets and systems.
Initiative and Project Coordination: Manage and coordinate security initiatives and projects — including timelines, resources, and deliverables — to ensure alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with business units, IT teams, and senior management to assess security needs, prioritize initiatives, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
Business Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor and business partner to stakeholders, providing guidance on security best practices, risk mitigation strategies, and security awareness.
Team Leadership and Development: Mentor and coach a team of security professionals, promoting their growth and development in alignment with organizational objectives.
Continuous Improvement: Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of security programs and initiatives. Collect, analyze, and report on operational metrics to senior management and stakeholders. Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on industry trends, emerging threats, and lessons learned from incidents or audits.
What You Have
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, business administration, or related field (master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience (5+ years) in leadership roles encompassing information security, program management, and strategic business partnership. Director, Security Program Manager
- Strong proficiency in program development, collaboration, and coordination across diverse teams and departments.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and regulatory standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in collecting, analyzing, and reporting operational metrics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, or equivalent are advantageous
