Responsibilities
We’re hiring an Interior Designer for our Austin, Texas office. The ideal candidate is a creative self-starter who’s comfortable working on multiple projects at once. Previous experience in Multifamily Housing and Hospitality preferred; other market sector design, such as Corporate Commercial and Academic, appreciated but not required. The designer should thrive in a collaborative team environment with technically sophisticated and design-focused projects.
Responsibilities Will Include
- Interior design from project inception through construction.
- Selection of materials, lighting, fixtures, furnishings, art, and accessories.
- Coordination across design teams including architects; engineers and consultants; product representatives; furniture dealersand custom fabricators; and more.
- Project documentation via client presentations, renderings, CD sets, detail drawings, specifications and finish binders, as well as timely and thorough responses during
- Support of furniture procurement and installation process
Qualifications
- Interior Design degree from an accredited university
- 5-7 years of relevant design experience
- Proficient in Revit, Enscape, and
- Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop and InDesign); prior experience with Sketchup or 3DS Max a plus
- Ability to think analytically and solve problems independently
