GENERAL PURPOSE
Schedule and plan production processes utilizing the MillerKnoll execution systems and practices. Coordinate customer orders to ensure on-time shipments. Create and maintain prioritized material and capacity-feasible production schedules.
Essential Functions
- Assist in creating, maintaining, and enhancing the business process at specific site
- Communicate material availability issues and work with the material planning group to successfully expedite raw materials to ensure on-time customer shipments.
- Determine short lead-time order priorities to ensure timely completion of Emergency Response, Rapid Response, International, Internet, Service, and Inter-company orders.
- Develop prioritized daily schedules based on customer demand, distribution requirements, production capacity, and material availability.
- Ensure that business practices are documented and maintained in accordance with MillerKnoll standards.
- Interact with divisional and production personnel as necessary to affect change in current methods including, but not limited to, lead times, scheduling techniques, ordering policies, inventory position, master schedule loading, etc.
- Monitor order cancellations and revisions to ensure excess product is not produced.
- Partner with Order Scheduling, Materials, and Production to meet customer requests.
- Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
- Provide direct support to the coordination and completion of daily schedules.
- Review and monitor schedule loads and production capacities for an assigned area.
- Ensure appropriate capacity modeling and resource availability. May be required to discuss and resolve capacity issues with the Order Scheduling team.
- Stay abreast of current scheduling methods, professional techniques, new technology, concepts, and principles in the field of production and materials management.
- Track and report production schedule completion data.
- Track specific customer orders and communicate status to appropriate areas: customer service, distribution, production, and management.
- Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

Technology Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Teams, and other commonly used Microsoft Suite products.

Education/Experience
Associate's degree in business-related or technical program, or equivalent work experience. (Equivalent work experience represents a minimum of five years of Production and/or Materials management)
