Position Summary:

A Sales Associate/Showroom Administrator at Exemplis is responsible for various sales and sales support functions related to the Exemplis Southern California Sales Team as well as managing all aspects of the SitOnIt Seating Los Angeles showroom. These functions include product presentations, event planning, sample, and literature and resource management and quote development. In addition, gaining strong product knowledge will be required. These functions may include but are not limited to minimal local travel in Southern California and a vehicle that can support the transport of product chair samples will be required.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
- Greet walk in traffic in a positive manner. Our customers are our first priority and any other activities are secondary when a customer is in the showroom.
- Addressing any other needs of walk in traffic, including materials, quoting or any customer needs relative to product and/or the company.
- Host showroom events; planning/coordination lead of showroom events; event planning assistance possible on outside showroom events.
- Develop and promote an annual calendar of events, i.e., seasonal customer relationship events, new product launces within the showroom.
- Track showroom visits by customer and share with the team.
- Actively participate in driving showroom traffic.
- Ability to work directly with dealerships on pricing requirements, discounts, and specifications.
- Handle approximately 30 small accounts in SoCal, including literature distribution and product and company updates.
- Handle approximately 25 smaller A&D accounts, including literature distribution and product and company updates.
- Maintain SitOnIt Showroom in Los Angeles.
- Expectation to work from the Los Angeles showroom 3 days per week or more often as events require.
- Ensure showroom is clean and organized with appropriate product brochures available.
- Ensure that hosting area is stocked and organized.
- Coordinate Showroom tours, arrange for meals, transportation, signage, etc.
- Support SCA4 and SCA5 Teams by ordering brochures and fabric samples.
- Support SCA4 and SCA5 Teams by providing quotes to dealers.
- Submit various internal paperwork to support the sales process, TVRs, Specials, Spec fees.
- In-depth knowledge of our products.
- Maintain and organize sample chair inventory in coordination with Servicewest.
- Create delivery manifests.
- Communicate with delivery driver.
Qualifications, Skills And Education
Required Qualifications:
- College Degree or equivalent work exp.
- At least 2 years' experience in a role or experience in a similar working space.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Computer literate - SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Capable of working in a high-performance environment.
- Detail oriented.
- Work independently and as a team.
- Ability to present product professionally and confidently.
