The approximately 10-member team uses a risk-based and data driven approach to support business operations and strategic initiatives. You will join an environment that promotes learning, cultivates talent and provides a platform for career development.
What you will be doing:
As a Senior Auditor at Steelcase, you will be empowered to oversee all phases of the audit cycle as you lead audit plan completion. This includes the following:
- Execute Audits – Perform financial and operational audits to assess whether internal control structures are operating efficiently and effectively.
- Communicate Results – Prepare and facilitate written and verbal communication of audit results to senior management.
- Manage Relationships – Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders by serving as a trusted advisor.
- Support SOX – Review results of SOX program evaluations to assess compliance.
- Promote Continuous Improvement – Participate in team efforts to optimize departmental processes in support of compliance with IIA standards.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance
- At least 3 years of applicable experience
- CPA or CIA
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
- CISA and/or CFE Information technology or financial systems knowledge
- SEC client or manufacturing experience Global business experience and additional language skills
