Position: Interior Designer
As an Interior Designer, your role encompasses understanding and interpreting client needs and preferences to create captivating design solutions. Responsibilities include conceptualizing designs, conducting field measurements, space planning, producing visual layouts, and sourcing materials and accessories. You'll engage in client meetings, craft presentations, and manage multiple deadlines. Additionally, you'll maintain accurate records of materials, costs, and orders.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture: Required
Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations:
- Certified Interior Designer: Preferred
- CA Driver's License: Required
Work Experience:
- 3-5 years of management experience within the industry: Required
Key Skills Set:
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Suite
- Ability to produce realistic renderings using clients' chosen materials (Revit / Enscape)
- Strong customer service orientation
- Comprehensive grasp of fundamental design principles
- Up-to-date knowledge of products in the market, including flooring, tile, countertops, paint, plumbing, appliances, and electricals
- Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong organizational skills, time-management proficiency, and adept problem-solving capabilities, meeting tight deadlines
- Aptitude for visualizing concepts and effectively conveying them to clients and colleagues
- Capability to accomplish challenging tasks with minimal supervision
- Aptitude for building rapport with clients and collaborating effectively with diverse personalities
- Understanding of product costs and their impact on project budgets
- Ability to create comprehensive spreadsheets detailing various packages and associated costs
