Eleven Interiors is looking for an Interior Designer to join our luxury residential design firm located in the South End of Boston. The ideal candidate is a creative and energetic team player, with a minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience as an interior designer in a residential interior design firm. The position entails:
- Assist the Senior Designer in managing multiple projects and deadlines of various sizes, from conception to completion
- Assist the Senior Designer with project construction process to ensure that project deadlines are being met
- Source new products, vendors, and inspiration for the design team to use during projects
- Develop detailed design concepts and provide programming and space planning analysis
- Demonstrate understanding of the architectural design process and integration of interior design concepts
- Perform field measurements and verification with Design Assistant
- Prepare design presentation packages using Microsoft PowerPoint
- Develop space plans/schematic designs using Archicad (training provided)
- Prepare floor plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, millwork design drawings, and furniture layouts
- Create construction documents and specifications
- Demonstrate strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills
- Possess technical proficiency in building construction, techniques and materials
- Participate in project administration: Proposals, Purchase Orders and Invoices
- Coordinate and oversee installations and deliveries

To be considered for the position, candidates must have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from a CIDA accredited school/program
- Minimum 5 years of experience in post-graduate Interior Design
- Professional work ethic and appearance
- Proficiency in Archicad or similar program (Archicad training provided)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
- Proficiency in Accounting/Project Management software a plus
