Role Summary
Are you a strategic sourcing leader with a passion for driving innovation, optimizing supplier partnerships, and delivering measurable business impact? At Fellowes, we're looking for a
Senior Manager, Global Sourcing to lead and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies that enhance our product quality, cost efficiency, and global supply chain performance.
This role will be at the forefront of our New Product Development (NPD) and stage gate processes, ensuring that sourcing decisions align with our corporate growth and profitability objectives. You’ll work cross-functionally with Engineering, Finance, Logistics, and Sales to maximize business success.
This role, based in our Itasca, IL, HQs, reports into the Director of Global Strategic Sourcing and will have one direct report.
In This Role, You Will…
- Design and implement strategic sourcing initiatives, focusing on cost savings, supplier development and geographic optimization
- Partner with suppliers to enhance quality, reduce costs and drive continuous improvements in global manufacturing and OEM supply chains
- Negotiate complex supplier contracts and production capacity agreements to support long-term business goals
- Oversee supplier production capacity, ensuring on-time delivery of new and existing products
- Manage sourcing analytics and procurement technology, including Oracle, GDW and Syteline
- Develop KPIs to measure supplier performance and inventory efficiency
- Align sourcing priorities with project-based procurement needs, bridging strategic vision with execution
What You Bring To The Team
- A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in global sourcing and supply chain management, to include leadership experience
- Proven expertise in supplier negotiations, strategic sourcing and cost reduction strategies
- A background in Architectural Products, Interior Finishes or Building Materials is preferred
- Strong cross-functional communication skills, working across engineering, finance, logistics and marketing
- Experience working with global teams and suppliers, with a deep understanding of international business cultures
- A continuous improvement mindset, leveraging Lean practices to enhance sourcing efficiency and productivity
- A bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain (APICS or CPM certification preferred)
The hiring range for this position in Itasca, IL is $130,000 to $150,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills and experience, among other factors. An annual incentive may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
