Description
We are hiring an Operations Lean Leader to help drive our plants to become the leaders in lean manufacturing practices, elevating our organization to the highest level of excellence and enabling us to better serve our customers.
Who You Are:
You are a visionary leader with a people-first mindset and are capable of fostering a culture of excellence throughout the organization while also developing and implementing standardized lean methodologies, approaches, assessments, and tools.
Minimum Qualifications
- Well-versed and passionate in continuous improvement and lean practices, or military equivalent experience.
- A strategic mindset and the ability to determine when to leverage lean/continuous improvement tools with proven results.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time within North America.
Desired Skills And Experience
- Strong leadership skills and persuasiveness, with the ability to influence plant leadership regarding lean manufacturing concepts
- Credibility as a coach and mentor, capable of guiding others in their understanding and implementation of lean concepts.
- A demonstrated commitment to the principles of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
- Proven project management ability, with experience leading and implementing successful initiatives to improve organizational processes and culture.
What You Will Be Doing:
- You will coach plant leadership and provide mentoring and expertise support to other Leads who are not as well-versed in implementing lean principles, project management, and implementation processes.
- You will develop lean methods, approaches, assessments, and tools for standardizing and implementing lean processes across the enterprise while providing training on these approaches and tools.
- You will serve as the internal "consultant" and resource within the organization and across the company.
