GENERAL PURPOSE
Leads global integrated marketing strategy across all assigned Product portfolios.
Essential Functions
- Develops and manages the Product Marketing Strategy and execution for large and complex global product launches and go-to-market campaigns for systemic architecture, new platform and evolutionary products as part of the internal new product commercialization process.
- Accountable for development and ongoing management of large-scale launch budgets to both optimize for return on investment and nurture brand health
- Co-Leads with Brand Creative the development of compelling storytelling to feed brand communication calendar and content drip, and the scoping of photography and editorial needs.
- Leads Global integrated marketing strategy Across Herman Miller and Knoll's Products for assigned Portfolio.
- Responsible for driving cross-functional strategic alignment and ensuring that channel and functional teams execute against the robust marketing strategy successfully.
- Manages the execution of integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives across multiple distribution channels (Contract and Retail), verticals (enterprise, healthcare, education) and marketing platforms (site, social, CRM, PR, showroom/stores, other experiential/events, etc.) globally.
- Ensures individual product and category campaigns align to overall brand strategy and corporate initiatives
- Fosters a keen understanding of the Herman Miller and Knoll world, our brand, our people, and our values; and applies these learnings to marketing initiatives.
- Leads start-to-finish marketing collateral development from product messaging and positioning to creative briefs, etc., via multi-contact, and multi-department coordination.
- Partners with distribution channel leads, product development, external designers, and product category managers to ensure maximized, powerful product launches.
- Represents the voice of the Herman Miller consumer, focusing time deeply understanding their needs and wants and reflecting it in strategic choices and marketing planning.
- Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, business design or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 10+ years of product or brand marketing experience.

- Excels at driving forward large, matrixed teams with leadership, diplomacy and action-orientation
- Capable of working on multiple workstreams and managing across multiple, matrixed departments, leadership levels and geography with influence
- Excels in building trust and creating fellowship within the organization to drive the work forward
- In-depth holistic understanding of creative production and product commercialization
- Comfortable with quickly understanding, filtering and consolidating input for concise, effective decision making
- Highly organized with strong project management skills
- Strong analytical and creative ability to translate complex development ideas and technical input into customer-facing content
- Ability to think and plan big picture, but execute with an eye for detail and excellence across all touchpoints
