High Level Statement Of The Role:
The Interior Designer assists with developing strategy and design direction for all Kimball International Showrooms and Tradeshows, as well as support marketing material image specifications such as renderings and photography.
Roles And Responsibilities:
- Provide interior design support and collaboration in developing design direction and strategy for all KII interior spaces, including all KII Corporate Showrooms, Tradeshows, the Corporate Headquarters and manufacturing locations, and certain dealer showrooms.
- Provide interior design support and design direction for any photoshoots, including but not limited to, space planning, product specifications, set propping and styling, and onsite set direction as needed.
- Provide interior design support for image renderings, including architectural and product specification assistance, as well as product specific knowledge.
- Provide interior design support of any other miscellaneous design requests.
- Submit product orders via the order entry form process and confirm accuracy of orders submitted to ensure everything was entered correctly.
- Order COM yardage for various showrooms, tradeshows, and other projects as needed.
- Provide onsite installation support for various remodels in our corporate facilities.
- Understand the marketplace and company needs to provide intelligent and relevant designs along with the products that communicate the information while consistently representing the brand.
- Learn, stretch, grow and discover how to enhance your creativity by seeking information and feedback on your work so that you can further develop your design skills.
- Maintain your professional design accreditation.
- Represent Kimball International and participate in design events ie. local IIDA chapter and other industry events as needed.
- Develop skills and gain knowledge for presentation of CEU’s to the design community to build Kimball International’s brand awareness.
- Promote and maintain a cost conscious environment within Kimball International.
- Support the Mission / Vision and Guiding Principles of Kimball International.

Education:
