Brian Brown Studio, a celebrated interior design firm specializing in contemporary California coastal aesthetics, is seeking an Intermediate Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. About the Role
The Intermediate Interior Designer works closely with our Design Team and reports directly to the Senior Interior Designer. They play a critical role in developing, managing, and documenting the technical aspects of assigned projects, ensuring goals, budgets, and timelines are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Senior Interior Designer to meet project goals, budget, and timelines.
- Coordinate with team members, fabricators, trades, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and clients.
- Source furnishings, fixtures, and finishes under the direction of the Design Director or Senior Designer.
- Produce and/or review quote requests, worksheets, purchase orders, estimates, and invoices.
- Edit and review drawing packages and shop drawings as needed.
- Create and oversee construction and presentation drawings or packages using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, and Canva.
- Develop and manage project schedules and tracking forms.
- Conduct site checks and monitor job site progress to ensure cohesiveness.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of interior design experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, and Canva.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- A collaborative attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
