Compensation range: $85,000 - $95,000/year

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to own the production of sales and marketing materials. The Marketing Specialist will collaborate with senior leadership in sales, marketing, and operations to write, design, and produce proposals, presentations, and other collateral used to help us secure business and tell our story.
The ideal candidate will have experience producing sales and marketing collateral for a design firm, furniture dealership, or professional services firm, with competence in copywriting, strategy, and graphic design.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Proposal Development: Lead the end-to-end process of developing proposals, from initial outline to final production. This includes crafting content, ensuring alignment with client needs, and adhering to brand voice.
Content Creation: Write, edit, and refine copy for proposals, presentations, blog posts, case studies, newsletters, and other marketing materials to effectively communicate Porter’s value proposition and competitive differentiators.
Asset Management: Gather and organize assets such as images, project descriptions, team bios, and case studies, maintaining a library of resources for proposal and marketing use.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations to collect insights, tailor materials to each opportunity, and coordinate inputs from various departments.
Brand Consistency: Using and developing approved templates, ensure that all proposals, presentations, \ and other collateral align with brand guidelines and maintain a consistent tone, style, and visual identity.
Quality Control: Review materials for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with client requirements, as well as for grammar, punctuation, and style.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Design Competency: Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Figma, as well as presentation software like PowerPoint. Basic understanding of layout principles, typography, and visual hierarchy.
Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills, with experience collaborating with sales, marketing, and leadership teams to achieve goals.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years of experience in proposal writing, marketing, or sales enablement within a design, architecture, or professional services environment
